I ordered from sarkujapan.com and my order came out completely wrong. One item was missing, and the item I did get had the wrong sauce, which was frustrating.

I checked my receipt to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake, but everything was entered correctly on my end. When you’re already hungry, dealing with a messed-up order is the last thing you want.

I tried to get it fixed, but it felt like nobody really cared. Save your time and double-check everything if you order from here, because based on my experience, the order accuracy was a 1 star.

I was really looking forward to my order, but it tasted like someone had just let it sit around for way too long before sending it out. The rice was dry, and the chicken didn’t taste fresh at all. I feel like whoever was handling the food that day didn’t really care about the quality, which was disappointing. I probably wouldn’t order from here again

The food was okay. Nothing special, but not bad. The staff made it awkward though. No smiles. Short answers. One person seemed annoyed when I asked a simple question. It just felt rude. I didn’t feel welcome there

Food was fine. Nothing special. The place was packed and way too loud. Tables looked kinda dirty too. Not a great spot to relax.

I ordered takeout the packaging was way more disappointing than I expected?!

The bag felt super flimsy, and one of the containers didn’t stay closed properly, so sauce ended up all over the bottom. By the time I got home, everything was kind of mixed together and sticky, which was just frustrating.
I know takeout isn’t always perfect, but this made the whole meal annoying before I even got to eat it. I probably won’t order takeout from here again unless they seriously fix the containers.

I was happy with this order overall. I got the mixed vegetable set and most of it showed up fresh and clean. The cabbage and carrots were especially good. One cucumber was a little soft, which was a bit disappointing, but not enough to ruin the whole order. If the quality stays like this, I’d probably buy again because...

This one was a bit hit or miss for me. The food was fine, but the portion size felt small for what they’re charging. I wouldn’t say it was totally bad, just not really worth the price in my opinion.

My food showed up super late and was already cold by the time it got here. The driver seemed totally lost, and when I reached out to support, they weren’t much help either. Like, make it make sense. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

I stopped by Sarku Japan the place looked clean overall. The tables were wiped down, the floor didn’t look messy, and the counter area seemed fine too. I only took off one star because the trash area was... kind of full when we sat down. Other than that, I still felt totally fine eating there.

The food was alright, but the wait was frustrating. It took much longer than the time they gave, and there weren’t really any updates, so I was just sitting around wondering what was going on. I get that places get busy, but a simple heads-up would’ve been the decent thing to do. Not a terrible experience, just way too slow.

I’ve given Sarku Japan a few tries because I figured maybe I just happened to go on an off day, but it’s been the same issue every time. One visit the chicken is decent, and the next it’s dry, lukewarm, or just not very good. The portions also seem to change depending on who’s working, which is a little frustrating.
The sauce is just as inconsistent, too. Sometimes the food is drowning in it, and other times there’s barely any at all. I’m not trying to be difficult, but for the price, I do expect it to be reasonably the same each time. At this point, I don’t think I’ll be giving it another chance.

I was hoping for a richer teriyaki flavor, but this was kinda too sweet for me and a bit watery. It just didn’t really hit the spot.

I ordered from sarkujapan.com the rice was the most disappointing part. It was dry, a little hard, and tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. I’ve had similar meals from other places where the rice was soft and fresh, so this really stood out to me in a bad way.
The rest of the food was okay, but for me, rice is a huge part of the meal and can kind of make or break it. If this is their usual quality, I probably wouldn’t order again...

I had to wait quite a bit before getting any kind of reply from customer service. What made it more confusing was that one email seemed to say one thing, then another email made it sound different, so I wasn’t really sure what was going on. Overall, the slow response made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be...

It’s not bad or anything, but the menu feels a little limited sometimes. Like, I can usually find something, but I kind of wish there were a few more options.

Ordering from here was annoying. The checkout page froze on me twice, and then after I finally got the order through, the delivery ended up being late. What bugged me most was that every time I tried to get an update, it felt like the goalposts kept moving, first it was one time, then another, and nobody really seemed to help or give a straight answer.
